DO YOU SERVE ALL OF NEVADA?
Yes. We are able to assist you with your Nevada annulment no matter where in Nevada you live or need the annulment action filed.
DOES AN ATTORNEY REPRESENT ME IF I HIRE THE PRO LAW GROUP TO COMPLETE MY NEVADA ANNULMENT?
Absolutely. We are a Nevada law firm helping clients each day. We are not a paralegal service or legal forms company. We handle all steps of the Nevada annulment process on your behalf from start to finish.
HOW QUICKLY WILL MY MARRIAGE BE ANNULLED?
It varies depending on whether we file a single signature petition or a two signature petition. For single signature petitions, it also varies depending on whether your spouse has to be served by publication or in person. In general, a single signature petition will be completed within 12-16 weeks while a two signature petition is normally finished within 3-4 weeks.
WHAT ADDITIONAL COSTS ARE THERE BESIDES YOUR ATTORNEY FEES?
The costs vary depending on whether a one signature annulment is filed or a two signature annulment is filed. Those costs include court-imposed filing fees, service of process fees (for a one signature annulment) and publishing fees (in certain circumstances). Other costs may apply. We always ensure that our clients have a full understanding of all costs before we begin to represent them. Please contact us for a detailed assessment of your particular situation.
WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES QUALIFY ME FOR A NEVADA ANNULMENT?
There are many different circumstances that allow a person to receive a Nevada annulment. See our article on Nevada annulment laws for more details.
WHAT IF I AM NOT A NEVADA RESIDENT? CAN I STILL GET A NEVADA ANNULMENT?
Nevada law allows individuals who were married in Nevada to obtain an annulment in the state. If you were not married in Nevada and do not live in Nevada, you are not eligible for a Nevada annulment until you have resided in Nevada for at least six weeks.
WHAT IF I LIVE OUT OF STATE AND A JUDGE WANTS ME TO APPEAR FOR A COURT HEARING?
If you live out of Nevada you are generally allowed to appear in court by telephone. An attorney from the Pro Law Group will also be in court to represent you while you speak with the judge.
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO HIRE YOU TO ANNUL MY MARRIAGE?
First, determine whether you have a proper basis for obtaining an annulment in Nevada. Once that has been determined, call us to receive our annulment questionnaire. After the questionnaire has been completed, return it back to us. We will then prepare all of the necessary court documents on your behalf and mail them to you for your notarized signature. After you have signed the court documents in the presence of a notary public, send the documents back to us. We will then file the court records and complete the annulment process for you.
WHERE CAN THE NEVADA ANNULMENT LAWS BE FOUND?
The Nevada annulment laws can be read in Chapter 125 of the Nevada Revised Statutes. Please also click here to read our article explaining in detail the applicable annulment laws.
